Download the SANDWICHVPN.

INSTRUCTIONS:
On win7 users must execute the installer on run as admin ( right click on icon and choose run as admin)
On winxp users, DOT NET is needed before the SandwichVPN installation
During its first run it will ask for a driver install just press yes.
Input your username and password on its proper field.
Set proper protocol for your area and press connect.
Once it connects the software will minimize to system tray and is ready to use
Note:
Always make sure that you have typed correctly your account.
Always be sure the program has administrative privileges when using Vista/7
Always be sure you have an active internet connection.
Always be sure to always run as admin during use. ( or you can set on its properties>compatibility>check always run as administrator )
FOR MTN USERS
Subscribe for BIS plan.
BBCWEEK to 21600--#500
BBC to 21600---#1500

ReplyDeleteIt depends on your network there and the open ports. If UDP port 500 is open on any network there, it should work.

ReplyDeleteDemo account works but you might find it difficult connecting because of the number of people trying to connect on the same server.
DeleteThe process is the same as stated above but you have only the demo server to use, you can not switch servers.

Hello mate... For some reason i personally have been finding hard to connect the sandwich vpn along with my multilinks. Just wanted to know if it is a general issue or not and if it isn't, what can i do. I can provide the logs for you if need be...
ReplyDeleteActually i think its a problem from multi-links because i have been having similar complaint from those using that network. Try using mtn.

DeleteYou make the subscription, put the sim in your modem and create a new profile. The new profile should be apn: blackberry.net and config name BB. You will to select the profile as default before connecting.

ReplyDeletefor those of you using multi-links,if you are having problems connecting or having problems with getting the network service it maybe because you are probably using windows 7 to run the software Wwhich it does not accept.....What i mean is that multi-links evdo blue broadband only runs or works properly with windows xp and vista,the cd does not come windows 7 driver so what you do is search online for its driver on windows 7,download and install them and you are good to go.there is no space for attachment i would have uploaded them or better still use the link( http://driverscollection.com/?H=ADU-510A/C/P/D&By=AnyDATA )i hope this works for you goodluck

ReplyDeleteSorry about that Mr. Jay, it was some server issues, it has been fixed now and premium account owners were compensated with some days extra and the account paused since saturday.

DeleteAt all we are sorry about the unstable service on sandwichvpn for some days, it was as a result of some DDOS attacks on the servers, the flooding was so much that it affected most servers but it has been resolved now and you can now use use your sandwich well again.

Hi Mayor, my 3G mtn modem which use to give me 3G/HSDPA has suddenly changed to EDGE and as u know, EDGE does not browse with many VPN. Pls tell me what d problem is & give d solution ASAP. May ur days be long bro.

@Geoffrey, I think that on window 7 everybody needs to grant all the different VPNs "ADMINISTRATOR PREVILEGES" for it to work.
ReplyDelete1. You have to right click the Vpn Icon on desktop.
2. Select "Compatibility Tab", at the end of the Tab, you will see "Run this program in Compatibility mode", tick this box.
3. Click on Apply changes.
4. Click OK.
Shut down you Computer and on it again for the changes to take place.

ReplyDelete@All, we have been having issues with mtn bis laely, largely due to their plan to harmonize the nor bis with the new BB Z10 data plans. We hope all turn out well when they are done, for now you can use multilinks for unlimited downloads.

ReplyDeleteIt all depends on the open port on your network in cameroon. The settings here are majorly for the open ports in Nigeria. If you can get the open port for MTN Nigeria on your network, That would be very nice.

For your HTC, since it is Android V2.3(Gingerbread), the only VPN that can work on it is DroidVPN and you will need to root your phone for it to work. But for your laptop, you can use MTN BIS and HorizonVPN on it.

the premium servers are faster than demo..their servers are well managed..i use idm at speed of 340kbps
